My impressions from summer study at OUC

So, yesterday started the second weeek of my study at OUC. Every day we have got new tasks. So, the theme of our yesterday study was a digital story. First of all, in the morning, our professor told to us about digital story. It was really interesting.

Even 2 weeks ago I could not imagine how to create a weblog and digital story. So, we should divide in to groups and to choose our theme. We decided to create digital story about OUC, to make an advertising.We shared tasks between each other. So we should to take photos, to choose a music and to write a text to pictures. Everybody did tasks very well and we created a really good digital story!

 

I like the study at OUC. It is really great! At this collage I compare study and leasure time. During these 10 days I learn a lot of new, that Iknow be useful for me in my country! 

 

Culture shock

         

        

It is the name of our presentation, that we do almost two days. From my point of view, this theme is very suitable for our situation. I mean, for our group at all. All of us came from different countries, so during first day we really have a shock. We compare every thing with our native. And we open for ourselves a lot of differences, beginning from buildings in the city, food and ending traffics, or even some rules in the supermarkets and cafes.
Today we compared four different cultures – Russian, Chinese, Poland and Norwagien. We opened for ourselves a lot of new and surprising! I like this theme very much, so I want to continue my learning in this field.

Aim of museums: learning

Library -  collection of different sources of information; displaying texts

 

Archive -  have chronological order, statistics, legal documents

 

Friday, the 4th of July

 

This morning we had got presentations. We prepared it about 2 days. So, today we could see all our presentations. We had got a lot of guests – staff from OUC. We heard some comments to our presentations from proffesors. But these comments were really friendly and almost without critics. Our presentations gave a lot of positive emotions and I want to underline, that our messages were understood and we had got feedback. Was really interesting, because each presentation was so misterious, so during it we could only guess.
